American Bus Association
Formerly the Motor Bus Division and later the National Motor Bus Division of the American Automobile Association. Name changed to the National Association of Motor Bus Operators until 1960 when it became the National Association of Motor Bus Owners. Assumed its present name on Sept. 19, 1977. ABA's mission is to advance motorcoach travel to fulfill the transportation and travel needs of the public. Members are privately owned bus companies, bus manufacturers, accessory manufacturers, travel-tourism businesses, and organizations and others concerned with bus service. Membership: $440-44,000 (Motorcoach Operator); $440 (Tour Operator); $500-1,310 (Travel Industry/Associate).
