American Society of Health System Pharmacists
Formerly (1994) American Society of Hospital Pharmacists. Founded as an outgrowth of the Sub-Section of Hospital Pharmacy of the American Pharmaceutical Association. Incorporated in the District of Columbia(1955), and reincorporated in Maryland(1984). ASHP's mission is to advance and support the professional practice of pharmacists in hospitals and health systems and serve on issues related to medication use and public health. Membership: $330 (Active/International Associate/Supporting Associate); $53 (Student/Technician); $83 (Resident/New Graduate); $165 (Retired); $495 (Joint/Spouse).
