The Telecommunications Association of Michigan announces it will operate under a new name, the Broadband Association of Michigan (BAM). Formerly known as the Telephone Association of Michigan. Telecommunications Association of Michigan helps its members meet customer and stakeholder needs by providing public policy advocacy, educational programming, and consensus building opportunities necessary in a constantly evolving industry. Category I type of membership is open to incumbent local telecom companies. Membership: $2,250 (Category II/ Category III); $500 (Consultants/Suppliers).
