Founded as the Georgia Hospitality and Travel Association from the merger of the Georgia Hotel and Motel Association, the Georgia Restaurant Association, the Atlanta Restaurant Association, and the Georgia Travel Commission, assumed its current name in 2005. Georgia Hotel and Lodging Association's mission is to promote, protect and educate the lodging industry around the state and to ensure positive business growth for its members.
