Established as the National Association of Private Psychiatric Hospitals (NAPPH) in 1933. Becomes the National Association of Psychiatric Health Systems (NAPHS) in 1993. Assumed its current name National Association for Behavioral Healthcare (NABH) in 2018. NABH advocates for behavioral healthcare and represents provider systems that are committed to the delivery of responsive, accountable, and clinically effective prevention, treatment and care for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with mental and substance use disorders. Membership fee: $3,500-$450,000 (Dues are based on the net revenue for all behavioral healthcare components of your system) + $50,000 per $200 million above $1.3 billion.
