National Board for Certified Counselors
NBCC is an independent not-for-profit credentialing body for counselors that works to establish and monitor a national certification system, to identify those counselors who have voluntarily sought and obtained certification, and to maintain a register of those counselors. It also serves as a certification organization that provides testing and credentialing to professionals in counseling and mental health care. It advances counseling as the premier certification body of the profession.
