National Chicken Council
Formerly (1954) known as the National Broiler Council and assumed the current name in 1998. NCC promotes and protects the interests of the chicken industry and is the industry's voice before Congress and federal agencies. Member companies include chicken producer/processors, poultry distributors, and allied industry firms. Membership: Processors - fee based on liveweight production; Allied - supplies to broiler trade industry $2,500 (Basic); $11,500 (Leader); $275 (Distributor).
