National Electrical Manufacturers Association
NEMA is a trade organization for manufacturers of electrical products in the U.S. Organized in 1926 through the merger of several organizations, the oldest of which, Electrical Manufacturers Club (1905). NEMA's mission is to promote the competitiveness of the U.S. electrical product industry through the development of standards, advocacy in federal and state legislatures and executive agencies, and the collection and analysis of economic data.
