Formerly (1936) National Soybean Processors Association, assumed its current name in 1989. National Oilseed Processors Association (NOPA), is a national trade association, that represents the United States’ soybean, canola, flaxseed, safflower seed, and sunflower seed crushing industries. It is well positioned to respond to industry’s needs during times of crisis and seeks proactive solutions to current and future challenges that impact America’s essential food, feed, and fuel sectors.
