Formerly (1942) known as Ohio Chapter of the National Shade Tree Conference and in 1961 as Ohio Chapter of the International Shade Tree Conference assumed current name in 1975. OCISA's mission is to promote awareness of responsible tree care practices through research, education, and training for arboricultural and community benefits.
