Society for Research in Child Development
Committee on Child Development of the National Research Council. The Committee, formed in 1925, was the successor to a subcommittee on Child Development under the Division of Anthropology and Psychology of the National Research Council, which began in 1922. Affiliated with the American Association for the Advancement of Science. SRCD's purpose is to promote multidisciplinary research in the field of human development, to advance the exchange of information among scientists and other professionals of various disciplines, and to encourage applications of research findings. Membership: $200 (Professional); $5 (LMIC); $60 (Graduate Student); $35 (Undergraduate); $95 (Early Career); $200-$350 (Emerita/Emeritus).
