Formerly (1932) known as the Motor Carriers Association of South Carolina. It became Motor Transportation Association of South Carolina in 1933. Present name was adopted in 1986. SCTA's mission is to advocate, educate and collaborate for successful trucking operations in SC. Membership: $800 (Allied Regional/National Membership); $550 (Allied In-State); $250 (Tech School).
