The Texas State Association of Parliamentarians is a constituent division of the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP). TSAP's purpose is to promote the philosophy and principles underlying the rules of deliberative assemblies through the study, teaching, and dissemination of parliamentary law and procedure, advocate and encourage continuing education, maximum proficiency in parliamentary skills, and closer communication and cooperation among parliamentarians in Texas.
