North Carolina Manufacturers Alliance
NCMA was founded as the Chemical Industry Council of North Carolina in 1988 and later it changed to the Manufacturers and Chemical Industry Council of North Carolina after merging with the North Carolina Pulp and Paper Council. It changed the name to the North Carolina Manufacturers Alliance in 2013. It's mission is to represent the interests of North Carolina manufacturing industries before the North Carolina General Assembly and state regulatory agencies on environmental, health, safety, energy, worker's compensation, and tax issues. Membership: $5,000 (Business Partner).
