Railway Supply Institute
RSI was formalized in January, 2003, with a consolidation of the Railway Supply Association and the Railway Progress Institute. The Railway Progress Institute was organized as the Railway Business Association in 1908, and changed its name in 1955. The Railway Supply Association was organized in 1938 under the name Allied Mechanical Association, and later morphed into the Railway Supply Association. RSI's mission is to support, connect and advocate for railway suppliers. Membership: $1,000 (Railroads/Banks/Law Firms/Industry Publications); $1,000-25,000 (Company, based on gross global rail related sales).
