American Society for Nondestructive Testing
Founded in August 1941 with nine charter members as the American Industrial Radium and X-Ray Society; became Society for Nondestructive Testing in 1946 and assumed its current name in 1967. Incorporated in Ohio in 1988. ASNT's purpose is to create a safer world by advocating the profession and technologies of nondestructive testing. ASNT exists to create a safer world by advancing scientific, engineering, and technical knowledge in the field of nondestructive testing. Membership: $75 (Individual); $15 (Student); $30 (Military); $410 (Corporate Partner); $15 (Retired); $600 (Lifetime).
