Michigan Dermatological Society strives to further the advancement of dermatology in all its branches in Michigan and vicinity. It also strives to serve the members through clinical and scientific meetings and supports the role of dermatologists as primary care physicians for the diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair and nail diseases, serves as an advisory body to health care organizations and promotes the standards of patient care and promote the public interest relating to dermatology.
