NSBA is a volunteer directed association. Originally the National Small Business Men's Association, it became the National Small Business Association in 1962, the same year in which the American Association of Small Business was absorbed. Merged with Small Business United in 1986 and changed its name to National Small Business United; reverted to the NSBA name in 2003. Sponsors and supports the NSBU Political Action Committee. Acts as an advocate for the small business community. NSBA's mission is to advocate state and federal policies which are beneficial to small business, the state, and the nation and to promote the growth of free enterprise. Membership: $250-$5,500/year (Based on Number of Individuals).
