Formerly known as the the Wisconsin Federation of Insurance Agents, became the Wisconsin Association of Mutual Insurance Agents in 1950 and again changed its name to the Wisconsin Independent Mutual Agents (WIMA) in 1964 and assumed its current name in in the late 1970’s. PIAW is an association dedicated to the growth and perpetuation of its members as professional business people who market insurance products to fulfill the needs of consumers. Membership: $749 (Associate/Company); $385-$1,610 (Agency membership dues are based on total no. of staff).
